GC columns, chromosorb diatomaceous earth
Chromatography Columns
These bonded stationary phase packed columns are used in capillary columns which provide a dramatic increase in column quality.

  • Low bleed levels
  • Outer diameter 1/8 inches
  • Longer column lifetimes and short conditioning times

Mesh size is 100/120 Silcoport W, modified version of Chromosorb W with highest inertness and most consistent performance.

To bridge the gap between traditional packed columns and capillary columns, bonded liquid phases for packed columns was developed. Bonded phases are more resistant to oxidation than nonbonded phases because of the stronger intermolecular forces produced by cross-linking.
