This ergonomic, intuitive concentrator provides quick, efficient and gentle vacuum concentration of DNA/RNA, nucleotides, proteins and other liquid or wet samples. The coated lid provides superior chemical resistance against aggressive acids and organic solvents (e.g. TFA, DMSO).
- Chemical resistant, maintenance-free PTFE diaphragm pump eliminates the need for changing pump oil
- Very quiet operation (<50 dB(A)), small footprint
- Simple operation due to intuitive control panel
- Maintenance-free induction drive and chemical-resistant, stainless steel chamber for trouble-free operation
- Choice of 3 operation modes (vacuum concentrator, centrifuge, and desiccator) for a variety of application needs
- Choice of 4 heating levels (ambient, 30, 45, 60 °C) allows safe and efficient concentration of various samples
- Choice of 3 application modes (aqueous, alcohol or high vapor pressure) to correspond with sample solvent reduction of processing time up to 20%
- Brake function can optionally be turned off for use with delicate samples
- Can be connected with most commercially available cold traps for use with vapors
Comes in 3 system configurations: Basic system, complete system with pump, and complete system with vacuum port.
Basic system: Concentrator for connecting to an existing vacuum pump or house vacuum line. Power to external vacuum pumps can be easily connected and automatically controlled by using the AC receptacle in the rear of the concentrator.
Complete System with pump: Concentrator with an integrated solvent-resistant, maintenance and oil free PTFE pump, and condensation trap.
Complete System with vacuum port: For extra capability/flexibility. It allows users to use the integrated vacuum pump separately without having to disconnect it from the system; simply connect the port to any external device that requires vacuum (e.g. gel dryer).
A wide range of fixed-angle rotors and the microplate rotor are available to enable the concentrator plus to accommodate a variety of tubes, plates and applications in the laboratory. To achieve outstanding capacity, a spacer is available to allow the stacking of some fixed-angle rotors-increasing capacity up to 144 samples.
