Supplier: Merck
Description: 2'-Deoxycytidine-5'-triphosphoric acid disodium salt (dCTP-Na2), Sigma-Aldrich®

Catalog Number: (PRSI92-064)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Deoxycytidine Kinase (DCK) is a member of the DCK/DGK family. DCK exists as a homodimer and is localised to the nucleus. DCK is required for the phosphorylation of the deoxyribonucleosides deoxycytidine (dC), deoxyguanosine (dG), and deoxyadenosine (dA). DCK has broad substrate specificity, and does not display selectivity based on the chirality of the substrate. In addition, DCK is also an essential enzyme for the phosphorylation of numerous nucleoside analogs widely employed as antiviral and chemotherapeutic agents. DCK is clinically important because of its relationship to drug resistance and sensitivity.

Catalog Number: (PRSI26-614)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Deoxycytidine kinase (DCK) is required for the phosphorylation of several deoxyribonucleosides and their nucleoside analogs. Deficiency of DCK is associated with resistance to antiviral and anticancer chemotherapeutic agents. Conversely, increased deoxycytidine kinase activity is associated with increased activation of these compounds to cytotoxic nucleoside triphosphate derivatives. Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Protein Disulfide-Isomerase A4 (PDIA4) is an endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein that belongs to the protein disulfide isomerase family. Human PDIA4 is synthesised as a 625 amino acid precursor that contains a 20 amino acid signal sequence, and a 625 amino acid mature chain, including three thioredoxin domains. PDIA4 catalyses the rearrangement of -S-S- bonds in proteins and is thought to be a deoxycytidine kinase. In addition, PDIA4 serves as a proteases protein disulfide isomerase, phospholipase or an arrangement of these.

Catalog Number: (PRSI91-734)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Proline-rich acidic protein 1, also known as Uterine-specific proline-rich acidic protein, UPA and PRAP1, is a secreted protein. PRAP1 is abundantly expressed in the epithelial cells of the liver, kidney, gastrointestinal tract and cervix. PRAP1 is up-regulated by butyrate, trichostatin A and 5'-aza-2' deoxycytidine. PRAP1 may play an important role in maintaining normal growth homeostasis in epithelial cells. PRAP1 is suppressed through epigenetic mechanisms involving histone deacetylation and methylation. PRAP1 has been shown to cause cell growth inhibition in cancer cell lines.

Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: MARVELD1 Antibody: MARVELD1, (MARVEL domain-containing 1), is one of the MARVEL (MAL and related proteins for vesicle trafficking and membrane link) domain-containing proteins. It is a nuclear-localized protein that is widely expressed in normal human tissues. While it has been reported to be overexpressed in colon cancer, MARVELD1 protein levels are generally lower in several primary tumors including ovary, breast, kidney, bladder and liver. This lower level of MARVELD1 expression in tumors is thought to be due to a higher methylation status of the MARVELD1 promoter as treatment of MDA-MB-361 with 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine restores MARVELD1 expression, suggesting that loss of MARVELD1 expression may contribute to tumorgenicity.

Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Maelstrom Antibody: The mammalian homolog of the Drosophila protein Maelstrom is expressed in the male germline and localizes to the sex body in spermatocytes and the chromatoid body in round spermatids. Similar to its expression in Drosophila, Maelstrom is a component of nuages, a germ-cell specific organelle and is thought to be essential for spermatogenesis and transposon repression during meiosis. In humans, Maelstrom has been found to be expressed only in the testis and in various cancer cell lines. Treatment of these cell lines with the demethylating agent 5'-Aza-2-Deoxycytidine significantly upregulated Maelstrom levels, indicating that its expression is regulated by DNA methylation.
