Description: ADAM DEC1 protein is expressed highly in the small intestine and appendix, moderately in lymph node, mucosal lining of the colon, thymus, spleen and very weakly in the bone marrow. ADAM DEC1 is induced during DC maturation and up-regulated in response to T-cell signals. It may play an important role in the control of the immune response and during pregnancy.

Description: CX3CR1 Antibody: CX3CR1 is one of the chemokine receptors that are required as coreceptors for HIV infection. The genes encoding human, murine, and rat CX3CR1 were cloned and designated V28 and CMKBRL1, CX3CR1, and RBS11, respectively. The encoded seven transmembrane protein was recently identified as the receptor for a novel transmembrane molecule, fractalkine, and renamed CX3CR1. Recently, CX3CR1 was found to serve as a coreceptor for HIV-1 and HIV-2 envelope fusion and virus infection, which can be inhibited by fractokine. CX3CR1 mediates leukocyte migration and adhesion. CX3CR1 is expressed in a variety of human tissues and cell lines.

Description: CD40 is also known as TNFRSF5, Bp50, CDW40, MGC9013, TNFRSF5 and p50, is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily which are single transmembrane-spanning glycoproteins, and plays an essential role in mediating a broad variety of immune and inflammatory responses including T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell development, and germinal center formation. CD40 is a costimulatory protein found on antigen presenting cells and is required for their activation. The binding of CD154 (CD40L) on TH cells to CD40 activates antigen presenting cells and induces a variety of downstream effects. CD40 contains 4 cysteine-rich repeats in the extracellular domain, and is expressed in B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, endothelial cells, and several tumor cell lines. The extracellular domain has the cysteinerich repeat regions, which are characteristic for many of the receptors of the TNF superfamily. Interaction of CD40 with its ligand, CD40L, leads to aggregation of CD40 molecules, which in turn interact with cytoplasmic components to initiate signaling pathways. Early studies on the CD40-CD40L system revealed its role in humoral immunity. Defects in CD40 result in hyper-IgM immunodeficiency type 3 (HIGM3), an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by an inability of B cells to undergo isotype switching, as well as an inability to mount an antibody-specific immune response, and a lack of germinal center formation.

Catalog Number: (PRSI28-987)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: RYBP contains 1 RanBP2-type zinc finger. RYBP may be implicated in the regulation of the transcription as a repressor of the transcriptional activity of E4TF1. In tumor cell lines, it may induce apoptosis.

Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: The CD19 antigen (95 kDa) is expressed from the earliest stage of B progenitor development, on all peripheral B cells including germinal centre B cells, and all B cell lines and B cell leukaemia tested. T cell and monocytic cell lines are negative and the antigen is lost on B cell maturation to plasma cells. The antigen is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein whose in vitro inhibition will influence B cell activation and proliferation.

Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: The ZNF2 gene is part of a sub-family of structurally related finger protein genes. Members of this sub-family are expressed as multiple transcripts in several cell lines.

Description: KLF2/Lung Kruppel-like factor (LKLF) functions as a negative regulator of adipocyte differentiation. KLF2 is highly expressed in adipose tissue, and studies in cell lines and primary cells demonstrate that KLF2 is expressed in preadipocytes but not mature adipocytes.

Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from a monocytic cell line. Immunohistochemical analysis of several nerve tissues indicated that this cytokine is primarily localized to neuronal cell bodies.
