Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-3095R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Cyclin dependent kinases are positively regulated by association with cyclins and negatively regulated by binding to inhibitory subunits. The activity of cyclin dependent kinases is also regulated by the phosphorylation status, which is controlled by the antagonistic action of Wee1 kinase and CDC25 phosphatases. Three CDC25 genes are present in human cells: CDC25A, CDC25B, and CDC25C. These three genes function at different phases of the cell cycle. Whereas CDC25A and CDC25B are expressed throughout the cell cycle, with peak expression in G1 for CDC25A and in both G1 S phase and G2 for CDC25B, CDC25C is predominantly expressed in G2.

Description: Green fluorescence protein (GFP) is a 27 kDa protein derived from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria, which emits green light (emission peak at a wavelenth of 509 nm) when excited by blue light (excitation peak at a wavelenth of 395 nm). Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) has become an invaluable tool in cell biology research, since its intrinsic fluorescence can be visualized in living cells. GFP fluorescence is stable under fixation conditions and suitable for a variety of applications. GFP has been widely used as a reporter for gene expression, enabling researchers to visualize and localize GFP-tagged proteins within living cells without the need for chemical staining. Other applications of GFP include assessment of protein protein interactions through the yeast two hybrid system and measurement of distance between proteins through fluorescence energy transfer (FRET) protocols. GFP technnology has considerably contributed to a greater understanding of cellular physiology.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: CDCA7 is a nuclear protein without a known function, although its high homology with the transcription factor JPO2 or RAM2 suggests that it is also a transcription factor. CDCA7 is one of many target genes regulated by the c-Myc transcription factor. Overexpression of CDCA7 occurs in a significant proportion of cancers and it may play an important role in tumorigenesis. Normally it is periodically expressed in the cell cycle, peaking at the G1 to S phase transition.

Supplier: TriLink BioTechnologies
Description: <p>mCherry mRNA encodes the fluorescent protein, mCherry, which is derived from DsRed, a protein found in <em>Discosoma </em>sp. mCherry is a monomeric fluorophore with a peak absorption at 587 nm and emission at 610 nm. It is stable and resistant to photobleaching.</p>

Description: DODC (DiOC2(5)) has been reported to bind to triplex DNA as well as dimeric hairpin quadruplex DNA. Binding of the dye to triplex DNA quenches the fluorescence of the dye and red-shifts the dye absorption peak.

Description: Based on Core Enhanced Technology, using 4 µm solid core particles, these columns allow users of conventional HPLC methods to enjoy performance far beyond that of columns packed with 5, 4 or even 3 μm fully porous particles. Very high separation efficiencies, using standard HPLC instruments and conditions, provide increased peak resolution and lower limits of detection. An ultra-stable packed bed results in exceptionally robust columns that demonstrate excellent retention and response reproducibility.

Description: TAL1 disruption at 1p32, a common rearrangement in the T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, usually results in the formation of a SCL interrupting locus (SIL)-TAL1 fusion product. SIL is an immediate early gene whose expression is associated with cell proliferation. The Sil protein exhibits ubiquitous expression in hematopoietic cell lines and tissues. However, Sil protein levels remain tightly regulated during the cell cycle, achieving peak levels in mitosis and diminishing on transition to G1 phase. Overexpression of Sil in primary adenocarcinomas predicts metastatic spread, especially in lung tumors with increased mitotic activity.
