Catalog Number: (710-1968)
Supplier: DOEHLER GROUP
Description: The Brewers QCheck® Kit contains ready-to-use culture media, allowing simple, fast and comprehensive microbiological control of all samples in the brewing process. The kit is particularly suitable for micro- and craft breweries who wish to establish microbiological quality control in their processes. All microbiological findings can be easily and reliably seen through a colour change, even without any previous knowledge. Only minimal laboratory equipment is required. The Brewers QCheck® Kit thus allows the entire beer brewing process to be microbiologically controlled, providing the perfect introduction to microbiological quality control.

Description: TACC1 is one of three TACC family members, which are thought to be involved in breast tumorigenesis. TACC1 is located on 8p11 chromosomal region that is amplified in approximately 15% of all breast tumor samples. The short arm of chromosome 8 also contains FGFR1 whose expression is enhanced in most breast cancer tumors. TACC family members, TACC1, TACC2, and TACC3, map very closely to the corresponding FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 genes on chromosomes 8, 10, and 4. Subsequently, since they are phylogenetically related, it is proposed that TACC and FGFR have similar roles in cell growth and differentiation. Also, TACC1 contains a conserved C-terminal region as in the Drosophila homolog, D-TACC. It has been shown that D-TACC is necessary for normal spindle function, and the mammalian TACC proteins appears to interact with centrosomes and microtubules in a similar manner

Catalog Number: (ENZOENZGEN1030100)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: AMPIGENE® DNA ladder contains DNA fragments ranging from 250 to 10000 bp that can be used as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The bands are evenly spaced and are intensified at 1000 bp and 3000 bp to serve as easily identifiable reference bands. The approximate mass of DNA in each of the bands is provided, assuming 5 µl load, for determining the approximate mass of DNA in samples with comparable intensity and sizes.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-8539R-A647)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Luciferase from the firefly has become one of the more widely used reporter proteins for the study of gene expression. Luciferase catalyzes a bioluminescent reaction which requires the substrate luciferin as well as Mg2+ and ATP. Mixing these reagents with the cell extract containing luciferase, results in a flash of light that decays rapidly. This light can be detected by a luminometer. The total light emission is proportional to the luciferase activity of the sample.
